Do you know that Walnut Creek has a free bus service downtown? Chances are if you are from Walnut Creek or have done some shopping, dining, or partying downtown you have seen one of these go by.
Free Ride (Route 4) Downtown Shuttle
The City of Walnut Creek subsidizes this service in the downtown area. The route runs from the Walnut Creek BART station to Broadway Plaza, stopping every other block at locations along Locust Street, Broadway Plaza, and Main Street. The Free Ride buses run weekdays, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekends between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. (Map of route)
